At our March general membership meeting we voted to hold a special endorsement for District Attorney at our next meeting on April 4th. Briefly afterward the Endorsement Committee met and created simple questionnaires to send to District Attorney candidates to determine who to invite to speak at our meeting.
At our April Membership Meeting, each invited candidate will be able to have a 2 min opening statement, followed by a Q&A section for 15 mins. To maximize the amount of time we can spend organizing for Bernie 2020, the Endorsement Committee decided to ask for question submissions in advance.
This is our first opportunity in decades to elect a District Attorney who will address our broken criminal justice system from the inside as this seat hasn’t been open since the early 1900s. Let’s make it count!
